Formed in 1985, the band found massive worldwide success with their 1987 album 'Appetite For Destruction' and its third single 'Sweet Child o' Mine'. After enjoying worldwide fame and fortune in the early 90s, in-fighting and very public problems eventually led to most of the original members of the band departing and being replaced, leaving frontman Axl Rose as the only remaining original member.
